This one-hour webinar program will provide a practical look at how FEMA flood map changes can affect property owners as their roles as flood insurance policyholders and borrowers. Find out how to ease the transition to new flood maps for your clients. Learn how mapping changes affect policy rates, premiums and the mandatory purchase of flood insurance. We will also review flood mapping issues related to Letters of Map Change and the Newly Mapped procedure.

Chuck Chase is the Floodplain Outreach Coordinator for the Nebraska Department of Natural Resources and a Certified Floodplain Manager. Chuck presents training and outreach programs that help local communities implement the National Flood Insurance Program. Chuck is a retired Coast Guard Chief and formerly an Exercise Training Officer for the Nebraska Emergency Management Agency. He is on the Professional Development Committee for the Nebraska Floodplain and Stormwater Manager's Association.
